In-Sports Development 's Match Report
After tasting their first defeat on match day 2 against ESPZEN, the In-Sports boys knew they had to put in more effort for the next game against Singa Juniors. The Singas started off the game with strong intent as their pacy players led by key playmaker Naqib, threatened the In-Sports goal in the opening seconds. Singa's intensity and pace paid dividends as a few neat touches led to them taking the lead in the 4th minute as their forward controlled a inch-perfect pass and stabbed home. In-Sports responded by trying to slow the pace of the game, but the speedy Singas stubbornly pressed hard to deny In-Sports space and time moving forward. Despite this, In-Sports once again did manage to break through and found many opportunities that went begging as the crucial final touch did not connect with the ball. Both sides continued to battle for the ball over the course of the game and both sides missed many chances. In-Sports' goalkeeper Warren was once again called upon to pull off a series of brilliant saves that kept the Singas at bay. As the game went on, the In-Sports boys worked their socks off to contain the fast-attacking Singas and counter-attack as best as they could until the final whistle but sadly, could not find a breakthrough.
