ESPZEN SS Black 's Match Report
The day look bright for the U9 black team with the fact of 2 wins from 3 would see those crowned champions for the 2nd time. We were far from over the line with the hardest test of the day coming in shape of YG2K.
The game started and ESPZEN were the first team to settle playing some great passes that looked to increase the chance of punishing the YG2K for some sloppy passing when playing out from the back.
YG2K need full focus as they are one of the best teams in the league and pose threats around the pitch, their effort and desire can easily cause problems, however ESPZEN were determined to make sure that they succeeded this season and you could tell with the confidence on show.
Nathan Mao, Archie Hare, Krish Farmer were all proving that they could dominate the game seeing a lot of the ball and patience in order to break down the YG2K team who are strong and hold a defensive shape very well.
The game had very little chances and not much action in the goal mouth down to intense defending and pressure from both sides, ESPZEN showed long spells of possession but could not find that killer instinct when it come to the final third.
