Singa Juniors United 's Match Report

Singa Jr started the match cautiously and Jaden, as defensive cover, cleared the ball on several occasions. Andy, stand-in goalie for this match saved from a free kick awarded to the opponents with his agility. On another occasion, Andy did well to save the team from going a goal down on a one on one situation, this seem to psyche the team up. The team started to play with much composure and Daniel shot just over the bar from a pass by Jaden. The team gathered more momentum and on the 17th minute, Jaden sent in a cross from the right and with Sabil waiting to pounce…Goal!!! Sabil scored right at the edge of the penalty box. ESPZEN Black started piling the pressure on Singa Jr’s goal and another great save by Andy straight off the corner. Singa Jr looks to hold on for their win till a defensive error allowed ESPZEN Black to equalize. The boys look dejected and affected their concentration as they conceded another 2 goals in the space of 3 mins.

They may have lost the game but their passing and movement have moved up a notch from their previous games.

ESPZEN SS Black 's Match Report

The ESPZEN U8  have been playing some great football of late and needed to keep up the good work they have done over the past 4 weeks and keep striving for better.

It was a fay where 3 games were on the horizon as the sun beats down to create hard conditions for the players to compete.

The game started fast and was a bit rushed. ESPZEN tried to get the ball down and play but seemed to be under pressure from the hard working side Singha Juniors who looked to make it hard for ESPZEN team when they were on the ball.

It was nice to see almost a full squad with only Archie Hare absent for the game. This give all the players chance to work together and gain a team spirit.

ESPZEN looked to be dominant in stages of the game however lacked real conviction when playing out from the back. The U8 need to focus hard on trusting each other and working as a team to overcome the opposition by staying calm and keeping the ball. The team always tries hard and showed some great individual skill however team work is the focus of the month and the team need to show more focus to improve in this area.

Man of the match – Skye – For always looking to pass left and right and even passing the ball into midfield from goal keeping position which is very brave.
