The game started again and we went all out from every area and opening Barker Boys well with our 1-2 play where you can see the guys putting all passes together well and moving off the ball was top class from the guys,
Angus got us back to make it 1-1 and both teams have to sit to share the point.

Nimisha was the captain of the day and her MOM goes to Maia for her welled played game and good controlling of the defend line.
Playing on a waterlogged pitch, the Boys prepared to face-off against the Espzen Sunday team for a potential title deciding match.
Valens and Wei Jian started at the back with Valentin between the posts. Isaac, Damien and Felix in the middle with Aiman at the front.
The Boys got off to the best possible start with an early goal in the opening minute of play. Felix evaded a couple of tackles on the left, chipped the ball into the middle leaving Aiman with an open goal to head the Boys into a 1-0 lead.
Attempting to capitalize on this, the Boys pushed for a second goal, but the waterlogged pitch made passing, movement and pace difficult for both sets of teams.
Play flowed evenly between both teams, and both teams had their fair share of chances to either equalize, or extend their lead.
The Boys attempted to move and open up their opponents defence by pushing down both wings, leading to a succession of corners and attempts at goal. However, their opponents defended well.
Equally, the Espzen players were not to be outdone and made several good penetrating plays going through the middle and forcing Valentin into making several saves to keep the scoreline at 1-0.
With one eye on the next game and to rotate the players, Marc, Mikhail and Shachin were brought on for Isaac, Aiman and Wei Jian.
Then following a heavy tackle, Felix had to be substituted and he was replaced by Ryan Lim.
Then, just past the midpoint of the game, the Boys conceded the equalizer. A goal kick upfield was easily intercepted and before the defenders could organize themselves, the opponents broke at pace and whipped a shot pass Valentin’s left, and into the goal. 1-1.
Both sides now went for what they knew would be the winner. The Boys regrouped, and launched a flurry of attacks to regain the lead. However, the pitch conditions were not particularly suited for a fast flowing play, with the ball getting stuck or passes going astray. At the final whistle, both teams shared the points, which was a fair reward for both sides.
MOTM award goes to Valentin. Apart from the goal kick which led to the equalizer, he played well overall and made several saves and blocks to deny the opponents from grabbing a second decisive goal.
