FC Jets 's Match Report
FC Jets drew ï¬rst blood with a quick trhow in from James send on goal in the 3rd minute its forward, Aan Leo (10). It was his day today as he went on to score a hat trick within 10 minutes into the game (6” & 8”). The second goal came from beautiful passing by the team. Aan was hounded by two defenders on the right opponent’s half. He quickly made a back pass to Gabriel Hjortlund (2) who held on the ball before squaring off to James Porpora (7) on the left. After which, James did a precision pass to Aan again to ï¬nish it off. All those training by the FC Jet’s head coach ï¬nally paid off. Aan scored his third goal after capitalising on a mistake by the ESPZEN SS RED’s defenders. Midway through the match, midï¬elder James was unfortunately injured from a robust tackle and could not continue the game. The team reorganised itself and continued to keep on the pressure on ESPZEN SS RED, spending most of the time in the opponent’s half by maintaining a high line of defence. ESPZEN SS RED tried a few times to break down the defence but the FC JETS’ defenders held on strongly and turned defence into attack on several occasions. Strong game by Gabriel Hjortlund (2) and the goal keeper, Tyler Bharucha (1). Their pressuring play was ï¬nally rewarded with the fourth and ï¬nal goal by Dylan Bharucha (4) with the assist coming from James (7) in the 18th minute. Fair play from both teams with a fair competent referee.
