ESPZEN SS Black 's Match Report
Our second game saw us up against Chelsea always a strong side with good footballing players in there side. The game started off very fast and both teams playing some good football. With the temperature rising the game was made even more difficult an area we spoke about before the game was as soon as we lost the ball can we recover back to help the goalkeeper and defender, I feel we achieved this and worked hard for eachother.
The individual performances that stood out for me was Archie Isherwood who was excellent in defence breaking down play and stopping the chelsea attackers. He also had good chances to pick the ball up in defence and drive into midfield which was his indiviual target for that match. Another is Harim not becasue he scored 7 goals as we like to look at his whole performance not just his goal scoring ability. Worked hard on and off the ball made some good passes to team mates and showed good 1v1 dribbling skills against the Chelsea defenders. A good battle between Harim and Konstantin who played with eachother last J-League you can see both players have made a good progression.
A tough one for the man of the match but Jan Tze decided it was Harim.
A very entertaining game to watch and it could of really gone either way the atmosphere was loud and half the parents looked like they just played a football game themselves. Well done to the Black team an excellent perforamance all around.
CFCSS SG - Team Costa 's Match Report
2nd game started off slow for Team Costa. We were down a few times but as we know the boys showed great determination to fight back every time they are a goal down. The boys showed more understanding team play in the 2nd game and we belive they will keep improving as the league goes on. The shape of the team is there and the boys will keep learning in training to improve as a team in future games. The boys manage to fight back and make the score 5-5 but with few minutes to go as we were trying to find the winning goal we lost concentration and let in 2 goals that could have been prevented. Nevertheless the boys gave 110% in every game and in training. They will come back stronger in future games. Keep going lads!!!!
